As the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for my school district, I've seen firsthand how having a clear plan and roadmap can make all the difference in achieving success. For too long, my team and I have been in a state of constant reactivity, trying to put out one fire after another.

We're stretched thin, with one subject matter expert per domain and 43 schools to serve. Often, we start projects but can never finish them to our satisfaction. But things are changing. Thanks to the Brilliance Project, we now have a clear framework to guide our work. With their help, we've been able to take the district outcomes and use them to craft group and individual objectives for every content area and offering.

We've created one, three and five-year plans that encompass our clear and measurable desired outcomes. And we've programmed strategies and activities to ensure we reach our milestones. Getting ahead of the work and inbound requests has been life-changing. We know where we are going and how we will get there, and as a result, it has provided the deepest sense of empowerment and freedom.

More than anything, the Brilliance Project has given us a sense of control. And that is invaluable.
